Welcome to all! I am very excited to join my new family here at Monarch Academy. With the new building this year we are all experiencing some changes together. I am thrilled to be here and look forward to getting to know each and every one of you. Here is just a bit of a background about myself.
This is my eighth year of teaching. I have taught in Baltimore City for six years now. Previously I have taught pre-k, kindergarten, and second grade. Along teaching I have a few hobbies that I love. I love to bake, read, and run. You will start to notice the first hobby I am sure early in the year when the students tell you that we are trying various treats. Reading is something that I always wish there was more time to do, but try love to read mysteries. In February I will be taking part in my first half-marathon in Disney. I am very excited to get into shape and get to the finish.
I have a wonderful family. My husband Tom, my daughter Paige (5), and my son Carter (1). They keep me on my toes and I love being with them and playing. Paige does dance and soccer and Carter of course just runs all over
